KUSTOM PAINT ROAD TRIP: JAPAN/2005 AUTO SALON
The third trip to Japan as a painting team, and the tenth trip for Craig Fraser as an instructor: Dion, and Craig of Kal Koncepts/Air Syndicate hooked up with the boyz at Signal/Showup, and Nippon Paint to kustom up a couple of tricked out drift cars, and to start a kustom paint relationship that will bridge the 2 countrys. Keep an eye out for the new level of kustom paint involvement in not only street racing, but time trial, road racing, and most important the hotest new sport out there,...D1,...I'm talking "DRIFT!!" If you havent heard of it,...it's time you recognize.....Stay Tuned!.

If it wasn't enough to do the two cars in a kandy, with graphics in one week,...they both got hood murals too. Had to throw them in a little realistic fire just for the fun of it. .
Heck,...after spending 6 days on two cars,...gotta leave a tag on the back! Paint to live, live to paint.
The car is not yet together, but we threw the panels on just for a quick photoshoot with the magazines over there.
Dion, and Craig being photo-shoot tough-guys. 7 major magazines covered the build up of these two show cars. 3 of them giving cover. Kal Koncepts/Air Syndicate remains one of the most photographed kustom paint shops in the world.
After Dion headed back for the states, Craig stayed on to teach 3 days of hands-on workshops. In this panel we reproduced the Signal logo that was on the Skyline Drifter.
